What does business coaching cost in Dubai? There is no single standard fee. Compare the actual session, access and commitment being offered. My first one-to-one, 60-minute business coaching call is AED 1,000, against my usual AED 2,500 hourly rate, with a full first-call money-back guarantee.
But a price only becomes useful when you know what you are buying. An hour discussing a specific business decision is different from a group programme, a leadership course or a consultant delivering a finished project. Put them in the same spreadsheet without looking at the scope and you can end up comparing completely different things.
If you are considering paying for business coaching in Dubai, I would start with the problem you want to work through. Then judge the offer against that problem. Here is a practical way to do it, including the questions I think you should ask me.
Start with the decision, not the hourly rate
Write down one sentence: “I want help deciding what to do about…” Finish it as specifically as you can. Perhaps your team sends every customer complaint back to you. Perhaps a service sells well but leaves very little money after delivery. Perhaps you have two growth options and cannot decide where to put your attention.
“I want to grow” is a direction. “I need to choose whether to hire a salesperson or fix our follow-up first” is a decision you can investigate. The second sentence gives the conversation a purpose and tells you which information to bring.
It also helps you spot a mismatch. If you need a qualified accountant to resolve a tax treatment, book that specialist. If you want someone to implement a CRM, ask for an implementation scope. Coaching can help you examine the business decision, but it should not be sold as a substitute for every other professional service.
Compare the whole offer on one page
For each provider, record the price, session length, whether the work is individual or group-based, who you actually speak to, and what commitment you are making. Ask whether preparation, follow-up material or between-session contact is included. Do not assume it is because another provider includes it.
Then add the practical terms. Is payment per session or for a package? Does anything renew? How do cancellation and rescheduling work? What does a guarantee cover, and how do you use it? Check the final payable amount rather than relying on a headline number.
Compare equivalent time carefully. A hypothetical AED 900 session lasting 45 minutes is equivalent to AED 1,200 for 60 minutes. That arithmetic does not make it expensive or cheap. It simply stops a shorter appointment looking cheaper because you have overlooked its length. These figures are an illustration, not a claim about a particular Dubai provider.
What my first-hour offer includes
You book a full hour with me, Mark Parham, online through Google Meet. We choose one business issue, look at the facts and options, and agree practical next actions. You bring the context and any useful numbers. I bring an outside perspective, direct questions and a willingness to challenge assumptions.
The first call costs AED 1,000. My usual hourly rate is AED 2,500, so the first-call saving is AED 1,500. It is a single payment. There is no subscription attached to it, and any further coaching is agreed separately.
I would rather describe the hour clearly than attach a long list of invented bonuses. The value has to come from the work we do on your business. You should finish knowing what decision you have made, what you still need to find out, or which specific action you are taking next. I cannot promise that one conversation will solve every issue you bring.
Use the economics of your own problem
Suppose, purely as an example, a repeated quoting mistake creates AED 500 of avoidable rework on each affected job. If you prevent two such cases, the avoided rework equals AED 1,000. That tells you something about the scale of the problem. It does not prove a coaching call will prevent those cases, or that coaching caused an improvement.
You need to ask how often the mistake actually happens, whether the cost estimate is reliable, and whether you can implement the change. If the problem is rare, the economics may be weaker than they first appear. If fixing it needs several days of staff training, include that effort too.
Be equally careful with your time. Recovering three hours does not automatically create three hours of billable revenue. Those hours may allow better management, earlier decisions or a less pressured week. Those can matter, but describe the benefit honestly instead of attaching an imaginary sales figure to every minute.
Look for evidence of fit, not just confidence
Ask a prospective coach how they work, what relevant experience they can substantiate, and where their service ends. If a qualification matters to your decision, verify it. If somebody shows a result, ask what changed, over what period, and what the client did to achieve it.
The International Coaching Federation's guide to choosing a coach recommends checking experience, training and fit, and speaking to more than one candidate. Those are sensible comparison points. A professional membership or credential should be described accurately, not implied through vague wording.
My published background is as a business owner, property investor and author. This offer is practical business coaching and mentoring. I am not asking you to infer a particular coaching accreditation from that background. Read the information about me, read a couple of my articles, and decide whether the way I approach a problem is useful to you.
What the money-back guarantee means
My promise is straightforward: “Not happy at the end of the call? Tell me I suck and I’ll refund the lot.” You do not have to use that exact phrase. If you are unhappy at the end of your attended first call, tell me then and I will refund the full AED 1,000 to your original payment method.
This is a satisfaction guarantee for the first call. It is not a promise of a particular profit increase, sales result or business valuation. Those outcomes depend on your circumstances, the decisions made and the work that follows.
You can also cancel for a full refund or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations and no-shows are not refundable. Cancellation refunds are handled manually. Read the full booking and refund terms before paying so you know exactly how the arrangements work.
Prepare enough to make the hour useful
You do not need a slide deck. Bring the problem, the decision you need to make and two or three examples that show what is happening. If you want to discuss sales, bring a small sample of enquiries and outcomes. If the problem is delegation, bring examples of decisions that keep landing back with you.
Separate facts from assumptions. “We lost six of the last ten suitable enquiries” is a fact if your records support it. “Everyone thinks we are too expensive” may be an assumption based on two comments. We can work with either, provided we know which is which.
Finally, leave some room after the call to act. A useful conversation that disappears under the next day's inbox achieves very little. Put a review date in the diary and give each agreed action an owner. Our weekly owner review is a simple place to keep that discipline.
Your coaching purchase checklist
Before you book any business coach, answer these questions in writing: What specific issue am I bringing? Why does this person fit the issue? What exactly am I paying for? What are the payment and cancellation terms? What will I do with the outcome?
Use the free comparison worksheet below to put offers beside each other. There is space for evidence, unanswered questions and the total commitment, so you can make a considered decision without relying on a polished sales page alone.
If you can explain the problem, understand the offer and are ready to act on the discussion, you have a much better basis for deciding whether the first hour is worth booking.
